Refund policy
RETURNS & EXCHANGES:
Products can be returned for an exchange or store credit, however you will need to pay the postage on any items returned and also the postage of the replacement item.
To be eligible for a return, the product must be as new, unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
This return policy does not apply to goods which have been worn, used or damaged after delivery. Wild Papaya will not accept any item for exchange or store credit that does not meet these requirements.
Before you return the item, please notify us via email. Include your name, date of purchase, reason for the return and whether you would like an exchange or store credit.
We will then contact you via email to confirm the acceptance of your return. Once the item has been received by us and certified to be in new condition with its original packaging, we will process your request for an exchange or store credit.
If you've requested an exchange, we will contact you to arrange payment of return postage for the exchanged items. Returned goods must be postmarked within 14 days of the date they were received to be eligible for refund or exchange.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted (if applicable):
- Items not in their original condition,
- Items that are damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error,
- Items with a return postmark of more than 14 days after they were received.
RETUNDS(if applicable)
Once your return has been received and inspected by us, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
If your request has been approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS: (if applicable):
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is visible on your statement.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS: (if applicable):
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
EXCHANGES: (if applicable):
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for an identical one, send us an email at hello@wildpapaya.cx and send your item to: Wild Papaya, PO Box 108 Fremantle WA Australia 6959.
GIFTS:
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift voucher will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

DO NOT post return items directly to Christmas Island, as unless sent by Australia Post Express they will be sent by sea and may not arrive on Christmas Island for several months.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
